Dua for a Sick Person – Masnoon Dua for Shifa | बीमार के लिए दुआ
When a person is sick or suffering from an illness, this Masnoon Dua should be recited for their Shifa and complete recovery. Hazrat Aishah رضي الله عنها narrated that when the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ visited a sick member of his family, he would supplicate to Allah Ta’ala and ask Him to remove the illness and grant complete healing.
Dua in Arabic
اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّ النَّاسِ، أَذْهِبِ الْبَأْسَ، وَاشْفِ أَنْتَ الشَّافِي، لَا شِفَاءَ إِلَّا شِفَاؤُكَ، شِفَاءً لَا يُغَادِرُ سَقَمًا
Roman English
Allahumma Rabban-naasi, adhhibil-ba’sa, washfi antash-Shaafi, laa shifaa’a illaa shifaa’uka, shifaa’an laa yughaadiru saqaman.
English Meaning
“O Allah, Lord of mankind, remove the illness and cure the sick person. You are the Healer. There is no healing except Your healing, a healing that leaves no illness behind.”
