Dua for Laylat-ul-Qadr
Laylat-ul-Qadr is one of the most blessed nights of Ramadan. Hazrat Aishah رضي الله عنها asked the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ what she should recite if she found Laylat-ul-Qadr, and he ﷺ taught her this beautiful Dua asking Allah Ta’ala for forgiveness.
Dua in Arabic
اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّكَ عَفُوٌّ تُحِبُّ الْعَفْوَ فَاعْفُ عَنِّي
Roman English
Allahumma innaka ‘afuwwun tuhibbul-‘afwa fa‘fu ‘annee.
English Meaning
“O Allah, You are Pardoning and You love to pardon, so pardon me.”

Hazrat Aishah رضي الله عنها asked the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ what she should say on Laylat-ul-Qadr, and he ﷺ taught her this Dua. Imam al-Tirmidhi graded the narration Hasan Sahih.
