Dua When Angry
When a person becomes angry, Islam teaches us to seek protection from Shaytan. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught that saying “A‘oodhu billaahi minash-Shaytaanir-Rajeem” can help remove the effects of anger. This is authentically reported in Sahih al-Bukhari 6115.

Hazrat Sulaiman bin Surad رضي الله عنه narrated that two men were arguing in the presence of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. One of them became extremely angry, and the Prophet ﷺ said that he knew a statement which, if the angry man said it, his anger would go away: “A‘oodhu billaahi minash-Shaytaanir-Rajeem.”
