Dua for Parents
When remembering our parents and seeking Allah Ta’ala’s mercy for them, this beautiful Quranic Dua should be recited. Allah Ta’ala teaches us in the Quran to ask Him to have mercy upon our parents just as they raised and cared for us when we were young.
Dua in Arabic
رَبِّ ارْحَمْهُمَا كَمَا رَبَّيَانِي صَغِيرًا
Roman English
Rabbir-hamhuma kama rabbayani sagheera.
English Meaning
“My Lord, have mercy upon them as they brought me up when I was small.”
