Dua for Righteous Children
When parents seek righteous, pious and obedient children who become a source of comfort and joy, this beautiful Quranic Dua should be recited. Allah Ta’ala mentions this Dua of His righteous servants, asking Him to bless them with spouses and offspring who are a comfort to their eyes and to make them examples for the righteous.
Dua in Arabic
رَبَّنَا هَبْ لَنَا مِنْ أَزْوَاجِنَا وَذُرِّيَّاتِنَا قُرَّةَ أَعْيُنٍ وَاجْعَلْنَا لِلْمُتَّقِينَ إِمَامًا
Roman English
Rabbanaa hab lanaa min azwaajinaa wa dhurriyyaatinaa qurrata a‘yunin waj‘alnaa lil-muttaqeena imaamaa.
English Meaning
“Our Lord, grant us from among our spouses and offspring comfort to our eyes and make us an example for the righteous.”
