Durood and Dua After Adhan
Adhan sunne ke baad pehle Durood Shareef padhna aur phir Adhan ke baad ki dua padhna behtareen amal hai. Is mein hum Allah Ta’ala se Nabi-e-Kareem ﷺ ke liye Wasilah, Fazilah aur Maqam-e-Mahmood ki dua karte hain.
After hearing the Adhan, recite Durood Shareef and then recite the Dua After Adhan. In this supplication, we ask Allah Ta’ala to grant Prophet Muhammad ﷺ Al-Wasilah, Al-Fadilah, the high rank and Al-Maqam Al-Mahmood.
Durood Shareef
اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَىٰ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَبَارِكْ وَسَلِّمْ
Roman English:
Allaahumma salli ‘alaa Muhammadin wa ‘alaa aali Muhammadin wa baarik wa sallim.
Dua After Adhan
اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّ هَذِهِ الدَّعْوَةِ التَّامَّةِ، وَالصَّلَاةِ الْقَائِمَةِ، آتِ مُحَمَّدًا الْوَسِيلَةَ وَالْفَضِيلَةَ، وَالدَّرَجَةَ الرَّفِيعَةَ، وَابْعَثْهُ مَقَامًا مَحْمُودًا الَّذِي وَعَدْتَهُ، إِنَّكَ لَا تُخْلِفُ الْمِيعَادَ
Roman English
Allaahumma Rabba haadhihid-da‘watit-taammati, was-salaatil-qaa’imati, aati Muhammadanil-waseelata wal-fadeelata, wad-darajatar-rafee‘ata, wab‘athu maqaamam-mahmoodanil-ladhee wa‘adtahu, innaka laa tukhliful-mee‘aad.
English Meaning
“O Allah, Lord of this perfect call and the established prayer, grant Muhammad ﷺ Al-Wasilah, Al-Fadilah and the high rank, and raise him to the Praised Station which You have promised him. Surely, You do not break Your promise.”
