Dua After Hearing the Adhan
Adhan sunne ke baad Mu’azzin ke alfaaz dohrana aur phir yeh Masnoon Dua padhna chahiye. Is dua mein hum Allah Ta’ala se Nabi ﷺ ko Wasilah aur Maqam-e-Mahmood ata farmane aur unki shafa’at naseeb hone ki dua karte hain.
After hearing the Adhan, it is recommended to repeat the words of the Mu’azzin and then recite this Masnoon Dua. In this dua, we ask Allah Ta’ala to grant Prophet Muhammad ﷺ Al-Wasilah and Al-Maqam Al-Mahmood and to bless us with his intercession.
Dua in Arabic
اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّ هَذِهِ الدَّعْوَةِ التَّامَّةِ، وَالصَّلَاةِ الْقَائِمَةِ، آتِ مُحَمَّدًا الْوَسِيلَةَ وَالْفَضِيلَةَ، وَالدَّرَجَةَ الرَّفِيعَةَ، وَابْعَثْهُ مَقَامًا مَحْمُودًا الَّذِي وَعَدْتَهُ، إِنَّكَ لَا تُخْلِفُ الْمِيعَادَ
Roman English
Allaahumma Rabba haadhihid-da‘watit-taammati, was-salaatil-qaa’imati, aati Muhammadanil-waseelata wal-fadeelata, wad-darajatar-rafee‘ata, wab‘athu maqaamam-mahmoodanil-ladhee wa‘adtahu, innaka laa tukhliful-mee‘aad.
English Meaning
“O Allah, Lord of this perfect call and the established prayer, grant Muhammad ﷺ Al-Wasilah, Al-Fadilah and the high rank, and raise him to the Praised Station which You have promised him. Surely, You do not break Your promise.”
Dua After Hearing the Adhan is a Masnoon Dua recited after listening to the Adhan. This complete and commonly recited dua asks Allah Ta’ala to grant Prophet Muhammad ﷺ Al-Wasilah, Al-Fadilah and the Praised Station, and to fulfill the promise made to him.
