Dua When Returning From a Journey
Safar se wapas lautte waqt yeh Masnoon Dua padhni chahiye. Nabi-e-Kareem ﷺ safar se wapsi par Allah Ta’ala ki hamd-o-sana, tawheed aur maghfirat ka izhar farmate.
When returning from a journey, this Masnoon Dua is recited. It includes praising Allah, affirming His Oneness and seeking His forgiveness.
Dua in Arabic
آيِبُونَ، تَائِبُونَ، عَابِدُونَ، لِرَبِّنَا حَامِدُونَ
لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ، وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
Roman English
Aayiboona, taa’iboona, ‘aabidoona, li-Rabbinaa haamidoon.
Laa ilaaha illallaahu wahdahoo laa shareeka lah, lahul-mulku wa lahul-hamdu, wa huwa ‘alaa kulli shay’in qadeer.
English Meaning
“We are returning, repenting, worshipping and praising our Lord.”
“There is no god except Allah alone. He has no partner. To Him belongs the kingdom and to Him belongs all praise, and He has power over everything.”
