Dua When Hearing Thunder

Dua in Arabic
سُبْحَانَ الَّذِي يُسَبِّحُ الرَّعْدُ بِحَمْدِهِ وَالْمَلَائِكَةُ مِنْ خِيفَتِهِ
Roman English
Subhaanalladhee yusabbihur-ra‘du bihamdihi wal-malaa’ikatu min kheefatihi.
English Meaning
“Glory is to Him whom the thunder glorifies with His praise, and the angels glorify Him out of fear of Him.”
Reference
This Dua is reported from Abdullah ibn al-Zubayr رضي الله عنهما. When he heard thunder, he would stop speaking and say this Dua. It is mentioned in Al-Adab Al-Mufrad and Muwatta Imam Malik.
