Dua After Seeing a Bad Dream – Arabic, Roman English & English Meaning
Islam teaches us what to do if we see a frightening or unpleasant dream. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught us to seek Allah’s protection from Shaytan and from the evil of what we have seen. A person should also lightly spit toward the left three times, change the side on which they were sleeping, and avoid telling others about the bad dream.

أَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ وَمِنْ شَرِّ مَا رَأَيْتُ

English Meaning
“I seek refuge in Allah from Satan and from the evil of what I have seen.”

- Left side ki taraf halki si 3 baar phoonk/spit karein.
- Allah se Shaytan aur bad dream ke shar se panah maangein 3 baar.
- Jis side par so rahe the, side change kar lein.
- Bad dream ko kisi ko na batayein.

Sahih Muslim 2261d, 2262 — Hazrat Abu Qatadah رضي الله عنه aur Hazrat Jabir رضي الله عنه se riwayat hai ke Nabi ﷺ ne bad dream dekhne par Allah ki panah maangne, baayi taraf teen baar phoonkne aur karwat badalne ki taleem di.
