Dua When Waking Up During the Night – Arabic, Roman English & English Meaning
لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ، وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ. الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ، وَسُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ، وَلَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ، وَاللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ، وَلَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ. ثُمَّ يَقُولُ: اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي.
Roman English
La ilaha illallahu wahdahu la sharika lahu, lahul-mulku wa lahul-hamdu, wa huwa ‘ala kulli shay’in qadeer. Alhamdu lillahi, wa subhanallahi, wa la ilaha illallahu, wallahu akbar, wa la hawla wa la quwwata illa billah. Allahummaghfir li.
English Meaning
“There is no god but Allah alone, without any partner. To Him belongs the kingdom and all praise, and He has power over everything. All praise is for Allah, glory is for Allah, there is no god but Allah, Allah is the Greatest, and there is no power and no strength except through Allah. O Allah, forgive me.”

This dhikr is reported from Hazrat ‘Ubada ibn As-Samit رضي الله عنه in Sahih al-Bukhari, Hadith 1154.
