Dua Before Wudu
Before starting Wudu, Bismillah should be recited. Hadith reports mention saying the name of Allah at the beginning of Wudu.
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ عَلَى دِينِ الْإِسْلَامِ
Roman English:
Bismillaahi wal-hamdu lillaahi ‘alaa deenil-Islaam.
English Meaning:
“In the name of Allah, and all praise is for Allah upon the religion of Islam.”
Dua Before Wudu is a commonly recited dua before performing Wudu. It begins with the name of Allah and expresses gratitude to Allah for the blessing of Islam.
