Dua for Paying Off Debt
When a person is struggling to repay a debt or facing financial difficulty, this Masnoon Dua should be recited while seeking Allah’s help and lawful provision. Hazrat Ali رضي الله عنه narrated that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ taught this Dua to a person who was unable to fulfill his financial obligation and mentioned that Allah could fulfill even a very large debt.
Dua in Arabic
اللَّهُمَّ اكْفِنِي بِحَلَالِكَ عَنْ حَرَامِكَ، وَأَغْنِنِي بِفَضْلِكَ عَمَّنْ سِوَاكَ
Roman English
Allahummak-finee bi-halaalika ‘an haraamika, wa aghninee bi-fadlika ‘amman siwaak.
English Meaning
“O Allah, suffice me with what You have made lawful instead of what You have made unlawful, and make me independent of all others besides You by Your bounty.”
