ये इश्क़ वाले हैं तो हर चीज़ लुटा देते हैं
अल्लाह अल्लाह किए जाने से अल्लाह न मिले
अल्लाह वाले हैं तो अल्लाह से मिला देते हैं
बंदा बनना है ख़ुदा का, तो गदा बन उनका
जो फ़क़ीरों को शहंशाह बना देते हैं
याद आती है मदीने की, ज़हूरी जब भी
चंद आँसू शब-ए-फ़ुर्क़त में बहा देते हैं
درد و عالم کے مارے ہوئے کیا دیتے ہیں
ہم تو بس ان کی نگاہوں کو دعا دیتے ہیں
جو بھی مجرم میرے سرکار کے دامن میں چھپے
عرش والے اُسے جنت کی ہوا دیتے ہیں
عقل والوں کے نصیبوں میں کہاں ذوقِ جنوں
یہ عشق والے ہیں تو ہر چیز لٹا دیتے ہیں
اللہ اللہ کیے جانے سے اللہ نہ ملے
اللہ والے ہیں تو اللہ سے ملا دیتے ہیں
بندہ بننا ہے خدا کا، تو گدا بن ان کا
جو فقیروں کو شہنشاہ بنا دیتے ہیں
یاد آتی ہے مدینے کی، ظہوری جب بھی
چند آنسو شبِ فرقت میں بہا دیتے ہیں
